Our gathering, at the Lived Experiences Community Center, began with a simple devotional grounded in prayers about unity, gratitude, and the uplifting power of community life. These moments helped everyone center their hearts and prepare for a morning of fellowship and creativity.
Creative Window Decals
Friends of all ages joined together to color mandala-style window decals. The bright designs reflected the diversity and beauty of our neighborhood, each person adding their own touch and creating art that now brings light and color to the space.
Movement and Joy
Beyond the art table, others enjoyed the boxing equipment and even took a ride on a lowrider tricycle. Laughter and play filled the room, showing that creativity and joy take many forms—whether through art, movement, or simply trying something new.
Building Unity Across Generations
What made the morning so special was the mix of ages and backgrounds working side by side. These gatherings strengthen our bonds, nurture friendships, and remind us that community is built through small acts of connection.
