At the Juneteenth Festival in Oceanside, the Bahá’ís of Oceanside hosted a free arts and crafts booth designed especially for children and youth. The colorful space invited young people to express themselves creatively while learning about unity, equality, and the beauty of diversity. A bold banner reading “You are the fruits of one tree – Bahá’u’lláh” set the tone for an atmosphere of inclusion and joy. Crayons, markers, and vibrant materials covered the table, sparking imagination and meaningful conversations.

Parents and children alike were drawn to the booth’s welcoming energy and uplifting message. Volunteers shared smiles and stories while encouraging kids to create artwork inspired by the themes of love, justice, and harmony. The activity gave families a chance to pause, reflect, and connect in a positive and peaceful space. Through this simple but powerful offering, the Bahá’ís of Oceanside helped plant seeds of unity and understanding in the hearts of the next generation.
